MAC Brush Cleanser | Review

What it says on MAC website:
This one product will clean, disinfect and condition the brush fibers so that brushes will last longer. It is convenient to use and is specifically designed to extend the life of high quality brushes. Brush Cleanser leaves your brushes smelling fresh and clean, and helps shorten their drying time.

What I say:
I've been wanting to try this to quickly clean my eye brushes when I use them so I can change eyeshadow colors quickly because I have few eye brushes.

I don't suggest using this with face brushes that you use liquid foundations because it takes time to remove all the foundation but it's also okay if you just want to sanitize your brush after use so dirt won't build up on your brushes. Then just deep clean your brushes at least once a week.

I got this at Duty Free Philippines for $15 same as the price at maccosmetics.com so I suggest if you buy at Duty Free make a list with the prices on the website so you can compare.

Note: Here I used cloth because the tissue breaks down and sticks to the brushes. With cloth I can swirl the brushes as long as I want to until I see it's clean.

Overall:
Will I buy this again: Maybe

Do I recommend this: Maybe

MAC 217 Blending Brush | Review

What it says (maccosmetics.com):
For shading or blending of colour or creamy products. This brush has fine, densely packed fibers that are arranged in an oval shape. M·A·C professional brushes are hand-sculpted and assembled using the finest quality materials. They feature wood handles and nickel-plated brass ferrules.

What I say:
This is also one product I've been wanting to buy from MAC because it's very popular on youtube and makeup artists. I got mine at Duty Free Ph for $26.50. It is sold at macocsmetics.com for $24. It's super soft on skin / doesn't scratch, blends and applies shadows well, and fits perfectly on my crease. I believe you can also use this for concealer, contour etc. All I can say is that I love this brush!

MAC Archie's Girls Collection - Ronnie Red Lipstick

Here I'll share my experience with my purchase from MAC Cosmetics online via Globe GCASH American Express Virtual Pay.

So, I've been waiting for the launch of MAC Archie's Girls Collection on MAC's website since I knew about it. I checked everyday but I missed the day it launched coz I miscomputed the time difference. Glad my friend reminded me so I was able to grab one lipstick but I was originally waiting for Betty Bright but unfortunately it was already sold out so after thinking quickly I got Ronnie Red instead coz it's matte and I really want to get one from this collection. So, below is the timeframe from when I ordered to when I received it at home.

Jan 31 - Launch and Order (2) MAC Ronnie Red $35.97 (P1,507.52)

Feb 1 - Received email from MAC that my order has shipped

Feb 9 - Package received at MSB (My-Shoppingbox) and I also paid same day and opt for AIR shipping $5.81 (P243.68)

Feb 13 - Status in MSB: Order departed US

Feb 21 - Status in MSB: Good Dispatched at MSB Manila Facility
- Received package same day via LBC

So, overall it took more or less 7 days when you opt for AIR shipping and I'm happy that my item is in very good condition and had it's original box from MAC!

I was so excited to open it coz I only see MAC open box from youtube beauty vloggers and finally my own MAC open box! And there it is the beautiful package of Archie and his girls! I didn't inmediately tried it but I texted my friend that our package has arrived and she was also excited ofcourse and we had to facetime and I showed her the lipstick! So, before I tried my lipstick I had to put makeup on first but before that I was thinking of what look I would try and then I remembered I have this MEGA Magazine issue of Betty and Veronica and glad I found a look with Veronica wearing red lipstick. She had blue eye makeup which was good coz I'll be attending a wedding soon and blue is the motif so I came up with the look shown on the pictures below but not yet sure if I'll wear this eye makeup on that day. I think it's over the top. Haha!

Anyways, onto my review of the lipstick. I swatched the lipstick and I looove it! It's not so fierce red. It's like a strawberry red and when I rubbed it it left a stain and I looove it! I can wear it down by mixing with my MAC Lip Erase. I tried it after I removed the lipstick with a tissue then I thought I'll try it with my lip erase and there it's perfect it turned into a lighter pink that i can wear anytime! (Sorry I wasn't able to take a pic with the lip erase.)

My First MAC Cosmetics Makeup!!! :)

So I wanna share my first MAC Cosmetics makeup and short review about it! These were bought at Duty Free Ph.

Fix+ (100ml/$20):
I love the scent and I love to use this after applying powder foundation to avoid cakiness/flakiness. I love to use this to freshen up my face and to blot oil during the day.

Paint Pot in Groundwork ($21):
I love that this doesn't crease on my eyelids and stays put and doesn't smudge but I don't think it makes my eyeshadow last longer coz I think it dries quickly when I apply it on my lids so the eyeshadow doesn't stick much but I love wearing this alone as I said it's smudgeproof. I also don't like that this dries up fast so what I do is I put a small amount in a separate container for everyday use so my big pot won't dry up quickly.

Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Dark (for contour) ($34):
I love using this to contour my cheeks and nose. Can't say much about this coz As I said I only use this for contour. Don't think it gives me breakout.

Lip Erase in Dim ($25):
So, I have mixed feelings about this. I've been wanting to buy this for so long and kinda feel disappointed coz it mixes with my lipstick when I apply it. A little/tiny bit goes a long way to erase lips and to let it dry before you apply lipstick over it. I don't hate it but I won't be repurchasing this again. Don't use this very much that I even forget to use it to erase my birthmark under my lower lip.

Lip Pencil in In Synch ($16):
Don't use this much but I like using this to outline my lips to erase pigmentation or to highlight my cupid's bow. It doesn't last long as a lipliner and when I apply lip product over it doesn't stay put so I wanna try the pro longwear one coz I swatched it and it doesn't smudge. I can't find the one I swatched so I ended up getting this but it's still okay.
